macaron mecca opens in hong kong!

if you claim to be a big fan of macarons, how could you not know ladurée from paris? i still remember how excited i was when ladurée was having a pop-up store at joyce boutique 2 years ago (*ahem.. that blog was a group assignment of mine back then)! the macaron mecca has just opened in hong kong last saturday! being the legendary macaron house, the new ladurée store is located at harbour city tst! i passed by it on saturday evening, and the queue was crazily long! but well.. for those of you who are familiar with it, you know that's nothing new!

carven recently launched a collaboration collection with petit bateau! the items are just too cuteee.. and prices are reasonable!! the collection includes womenswear, kidswear and tiny bit of menswear!!

i got the red dress! it's just so easy and comfortable to wear.. and the red is so pretty! i could wear it during xmas and cny lol!! and the packaging was super nicely done!! yay.. definitely my best buy of the day (well it's the only buy tho haha)

red x black

yesterday was my best friend's birthday! she was hosting a birthday dinner, where the dress code was red x black.. hmm i dun't have much red clothes. so my bf and i decided to go shop for something that would go well with the dress code! we went to h&m. nothing much! then we went to cos and we both got stuff more than what we needed. i'll have to say it was my first purchase at cos ever since it's opening in hk! i never thought i would find something from cos because the clothes just look too simple and plain for me :P anyway we're both happy about our clothes and we'll definitely go back again haha!

p.s. i insisted that the t-shirt was 'orange red' but it's actually orange :/ okay my bad!

rumor has it that the next h&m collaboration will be with givenchy. really?????? if this is true. on one hand i'll be super happy cuz givenchy is just a-ma-zing! but on the other hand, i'm gonna be upset cuz i can already picture how crazy the war would be.. n i won't be able to get anything like this time :/

best buy of the day

hello hello! with no recent 'best buy of the day' posts, you could already tell i haven't been going shopping for quite a while! have been busy with work and getting broke (sort of...) i just didn't dare to go shopping altho i seriously need some new items for the winter!!

i couldn't hold it anymore today, and i went to this little boutique in central where i can find house of harlow 1960!! just in case you don't know, house of harlow 1960 is a jewelry line designed by nicole richie. and i just love it so much! i only had earrings before i started buying hoh1960, and since then i've fallen in love with the accessories!! it took me quite a while to find a place in hk where i can get them!

so here you go.. maybe it's a post-hallowen thing :P fyi i love accessories with skull (i'm absolutely nothing like grunchy or gothic etc but i just love it) and the color of the cross pendant down there is vintage gold on one side and gunmetal on the other :) new babies to my hoh1960 family, i'm happy!!

design colours life

i was in my second home (shanghai) last weekend!! one thing i particularly like about shanghai is that there are always a lot of arts and culture going on, we get to go to so many exhibitions, galleries, music concerts and so on! my bf and i went to check out a pretty cool exhibition at moca (museum of contemporary art): design colours life - contemporary finnish design and marimekko. please excuse me i have pretty much no knowledge about scandinavian arts and design, but i've been hearing that it's becoming a thing! it was nice to see, cool and fun! i like such exhibitions :) it's still on till dec 7. go check it out if u happen to be in shanghai!!

i believe most of you have already viewed the full collection online! i'm never a big fan of mmm, but i have to admit that the collection makes me all excited!!

i've 'marked' a couple of items, including the brown knee-length boots or black ankle boots, the nude top with black bra print, the black knee-lenth skirt, the black coat, the white circle shirt.. etc. omg can i just take half day off on nov 15?!!

i never had the courage to start my own blog. i was worried that i would lack of things to say i was worried that no one would come to my blog. that's also the reason why i don't publish my entries at other social media to drive traffic. i don't want my friends to come to my blog and think that it sucks or no one is reading it at all. i'm a chicken!

i made a deal with my bf: if i'm able to get a traffic of 1000 by his birthday, he'll get me a super cool web design! i was so close! anyway i'm happy to announce that i've finally gained this traffic, few days later after his birthday! but most importantly i would like to thank you all for coming to my blog (accidentally or purposely). it's such an encouragement! although i'm still far from being a great blogger, i'll never give up and keep working :)

p.s. sorry for being so lazy lol.. i keep trying :D
