best buy of the day!

i'm going to korea for a 5-day convention in late june! have been thinking of what to wear. dress code: business/ smart casual during the days, and a bit more formal during the nights. i'm not a shopaholic and i'm totally fine with wearing the same dress for many times.. as long as it's pretty <3 so i pretty much have enough dresses for the nights. but. i need some smart casual outfits as 90% of my wardrobe is super casual. and.. i happened to find the perfect dress from zara! it fits so well, and the color is so nice, it's not casual but it's not too much. i know the round bottom and prints (digital prints?!!) may remind us of mary katrantzou. but at a price of HKD899, i think it's my best buy of the day (well. i didn't buy anything from the topshop collaboration)! tada.... i think it looks even nicer when i'm wearing it haha!

i also bought a shirt from carven! carven is one of my favorite brands. carven was an haute couture fashion house founded in 1945, but with guillaume henry (who previously worked at givenchy and paule ka) joining the team since 2009, the brand has mesmerized the fashion world with it's fresh, young, très chic attitude. to know more about carven, please check out their official website and facebook page.

hello hello! time to write my very first blog entry! no more procrastination tsk tsk... have been thinking of what to write for my first entry. i think i've found the right subject - erdem resort 2013 collection. i was totally blown away when i saw the collection. floral prints. collars. lace. retro. you know how it feels when you see all your favorites in one single collection? totally in love with it. although the collection reminds me of dolce & gabbana in some ways.. it has a kind of grace that impresses you no matter how many times you've seen the collection. of course, the setting, the photography, the make-up, the hair, the jewels... everything adds up to give this amazing collection. you will never be bored of erdem's floral patterns one after the other.
